Zhibek is joining the Siegel lab

After quite a delay due to closed embassies and travel restrications, Zhibek is joining our lab for her PhD work. Zhibek received a Master of Science in Biological Sciences from the Nazarbayev University, Kazakhstan and has worked in labs in Taiwan, South Korea and the US. She will be part of our Cell2Cell network that aims to bring single-cell technologies to parasites and to elucidate the impact of cell-to-cell heterogeniety on parasite fitness.
